Todays PTC Exam FA 1985 Pool

Can anyone tell me if you index shares bought before the FA 1985 Pool please?<BR>I wasn't taught about this and cant find it in any of the books.<BR>If so todays exam ment you had to use two separate indexation figures one after the other or was I ment to add them together!!

    indexation commenced at march 82. Prior to that there is a 65 pool, but that is outside your syllabus.<BR>IA for pre 82 shares is based upon the larger of cost and March 82 valuation
