Hi All,

I am waiting for my DFS exam result, does any one know what the situation is if I were to fail?

Does a fail mean I can not complete my AAT Technician year because of 1 paper - or do I have to resit the whole year on the new standards - or will there be an extended sitting?

I really have not got the time nor patience to have to resit the entire year again, and I feel it would be unfair to put people in the same situation of never being fully AAT qualified, or having to resit a whole year.

any answers would be greatly appreciated?!?!

thanks

Officially you have to sit the whole year again under the new standards but you do get credits now for certain papers, the costing ones I think. If you did any tax modules, you have to resit them because they are now centrals and not skills tests. Why dont' you give student services a ring and see what they say?

I'll keep my fingers crossed for your results.

Annette0 -

Hi Shelley,

I am in the same boat as you - have you spoken to AAT about it? I really dont think I'll pass my centrals and dont want to have to pay for the whole year again when I have already passed some of the devolved assessments. I am going to speak to student services about it. Let me know if you have any answers.

Thanks

Anna0
