Personal Tax help ?

Having sat through 4 lessons of personal tax I am still as confused as ever, there seems so many rules and exemptions to remember. Does anyone who has done this subject before have any advice on remembering everything, because it is so different from any of the financial or costing modules ?<BR><BR>The worst thing is the lecturer rushes through to keep to a agenda and he is difficult to understand

    We did the personal tax module in 4 weeks but we were lucky enough to have an entertaining tutor who could illustrate the points for us. If you can get hold of a personal tax return with the notes from the inland revenue it might give you an insight into how it operates and put everything in place for you. Just think of how it relates to you. Just a thought!!!

    Hi <BR><BR>I sat Personal Tax in Dec (fingers crossed) and I felt like you. I don't have any easy ways to remember which exemptions etc and when, but I found with enough practice (like anything else) it just falls into place. I have always been one of those people who panics and really honestly doesn't get it until about two weeks before the exams. It's just the way I learn. God willing I'll get a pass in Personal Tax and that's me finished. Just CIMA to go now!!!!<BR><BR>Practice, practice, practice and I'm sure you'll get there. If I can do it, anyone can!<BR><BR>Good luck.<BR><BR>C<BR><BR>
