I'm alright with remembering how to calculate material and labour variance but can't seem to remember Fixed overhead varainces. Anyone any ideas. I'm resitting this and really need to pass coz if I don't I think my boss will KILL ME!!!

    Hiya Lisa,<BR><BR>Not sure if this will help but I put together this acronym:<BR>V - Volume Variance is to do with<BR>U - for Units<BR>C - Capaicty Variance is<BR>A - Actual<BR>B - Against Budget<BR>E - Efficiency Variance is<BR>S - Standard<BR>A - Against Actual<BR><BR>VUCABESA - IT saved my ass!<BR><BR>Good luck, this subject sucks!<BR>Pete.
