Hi,

I sat both DFS and PEV in December and failed. I thought I had done enough for PEV but obviously not. Now I have to decide whether to re-sit both in June or do 1 in June and 1 in December. Think i am going to go on a revision course too. I live in the Shetland Isles so have never been on a course before and will either be going to Newcastle or Manchester. Has anyone else done revision course and have you found them helpful? There is no college course up here specific for AAT so just had myself as guidance and not sure where I am going wrong. If anyone has the answers for DFS and PEV from Dec can you e-mail them to me at the following address.

laura.e.johnson@sic.shetland.gov.uk.

Thank you
Lol

I'm sorry to hear you have failed, i have in the past and i know exactlly how you must feel.

I sat a DFS revision course for the December sitting, i think it would be very hard to pass without, they are extremely helpful. They cover all the required areas for the exam, including past papers, an idea as to what is likley to appear based on previous exams and timing, all the knowledge required is three days. My particular college gave packs with all the information required, we had focu notes which were very helpful.

I would never sit an exam without attending a revision course in future, i think they are worth every penny.

again i'm sorry to hear you have not been sucessful, hope this helps.

Natalie0 -

Hi

Try FTC (www.financial-training.com) they are a private college and have one of the best reputations in the uk. They offer revision courses in Glasgow so it might be worth trying them!

Good luck

Susan0
