anyone got any adive on how to pass fra i have sat this exam tiwce now and failled twice yet i have just sat dfs and ptc and passed both first time i dont understand where im going wrong has anyone got the answers for fra would appreicate it thanks<BR>email<BR>fufina@blueyonder.co.uk

    FRA is about double entry, when I took the exam in June 04: this is what came up Section 1 Incomplete Records (this is just fill post the transactions to ledgers), create a Trial Balance, We had to explain to a junior member of staff why we did the Purchase Ledger Reconcilation to Main Ledger, then in Section 2 I had some adjustments to do via Journals, then finish the ETB, do a P & L & Balance Sheet, and then the Partners Current A/c`s the Appropriation Account was not in the paper but I would advise you to practice that too, Oh and a Stock Valuation. SSAP 9 and FRS13 are the standards you need to know, and the accounting concepts, prudency, consistency, going concern etc etc

    thanks so much for the advice i think im going to request a few back papers to do at home and learn them and they layouts so that nothing will supprise me, when i first opened the paper the first question threw me and i think thats what did it <BR>again thanks for the advice
