Hiya

I've just passed all my exams to. I've already enrolled with CIMA. My understanding is very briefly:

CIMA is directed more at accountants in industry (more costing)
ACCA is directed more working in practice (more tax)

The other body (I always forget the letters) are aimed at being a tax accountants and their exams are more difficult to pass because they're time barred.

Good luck whatever you choose.

Thank you for that.

I will have to maybe have a look at CIMA as I am working in industry.

Do you know if there is any difference in the qualifications. I mean is one higher than the other?

I don't think there's much difference to be honest. They're all accountants although I believe the chartered lot seem to think they're better because the exams are time barred and therefore more difficult to pass!
