Is it possible to get NVQ4 while you failed NVQ3?!

Hi,<BR><BR> One of my friends asked me this weired question, if somebody failed in Intermediate level, but he did technician level and passed without passing the intermediate modules, will he receive the NVQ4 certificate or he should pass NVQ3 first then he will get both certificates?<BR><BR> I was confused, so if any body knows such as this case or can help with useful information.<BR><BR>thanking you in advance

    Hi<BR><BR>Yes he would receive the NVQ 4 certificate but he wouldnt be able to apply for MAAT unless he also had the intermediate stage or a recognised equivalent. Also, so colleges may stipulate having to pass intermediate before you can do technician.<BR><BR>Neil
