ACCA exemption

Hello everyone,<BR><BR>Does anyone know how much ACCA we can be exempt from once we have completed AAT? <BR>I am planning to do both tax options at Technician level and I think that makes a difference too.<BR><BR>Many thanks,<BR><BR>Angelic

    Hello angelic<BR><BR>if you do aat intermediate and technician at 2003 standard which is new standard, you will get exemption from the whole foundation but i dont think if it matters even you do both taxation at technician<BR><BR>hope this helps<BR><BR>Arjun

    As Arjun says it doesn't matter what taxation you do but I think you will find that it really helps when you do the tax paper in ACCA if you've done it at AAT.<BR><BR>Good luck and it is correct, you can start at stage 2 with full AAT including project.<BR><BR>Annette

    You get much greater exemptions from ICAEW and CIMA - it seems to me that ACCA don't like us very much as they give someone with a degree in history the same exemptions when surely we are better placed?!
