Hi<BR><BR>I need to get a signed witness statement from my boss to show that I am capable of working with computers for Unit 21 but am not sure how to set this out. I have taken loads of screen prints, have copies of emails, spreadsheets but need something to state that I can turn on and off the computer, back up, etc.. Is there anyone that has already done this that could help me?<BR><BR>Many Thanks

    Witness Statement

    I completed AAT four years ago and seem to recall (I think it was in the Health & Safety module) that I needed confirmation from my boss about something in the unit to state that I could be classed as "competent" (Im not sure if this is still the term the AAT use). I would ask your boss to write a letter saying that you do deal with everyday tasks such as e-mails, backups, obtaining printouts etc etc and enclose this with your evidence. I did this a couple of times when I was doing the AAT and it got me through though the syllabus and standards have changed a couple of times since. Perhaps your college/tutor could confirm that they would accept a letter from your boss though I am sure they would.

    Make sure your boss writes it on company-headed paper.
