i have the above question in end of unit test and it has thrown me., <BR>does it mean, numeric or alphabetical? or that kinds thing or am i way out?

    MAIN CHARACTERISTICS OF A FILING SYSTEM?

    It means that records are filed in such a way as to make their retrevial both simple and logical. For instance, you might like to file your customer/supplier records alphabetically but your tax records chronologically. You may also like to note down that records should be legal (with respect to Data Protection, Payroll and VAT). <BR>I hope this helps.

    MAIN CHARACTERISTICS OF A FILING SYSTEM?

    In one of my simulations I was asked to give 3 examples ! Could not for the life of me think. They use Date, contract or invoice number and supplier/contracter<BR><BR>Not sure if this helps but felt the need to share!
