Petty Cash - Interim Balance (Someone Please Help)

I am really struggling with this petty cash thing, I have scanned the forum, emailed my tutor looked on the AAT Technician website, scoured the books etc etc. But still have found nothing that will help me complete this PCB including the interim balance, nothing shows the interim balance?<BR><BR>What goes in the Receipts side of the interim balance?<BR><BR>What goes on the payments side of the interim balance?<BR><BR>Where am I supposed to show how much is in my tin?<BR><BR>Very close to setting fire to the damn thing!<BR><BR>I need to show what the interim balance is and what the end of day balance is, so why can't I find anywhere something that tells me how to do this? Every thing just shows it as it would be at the close? Which is proving to be as useful as a hole in the head.<BR><BR>I have spent at least 5 days trying to figure this one part out (including waiting for tutor to get back to me which was 2 days and I was told that â??Petty Cashâ?? is usually straight forward try looking here: www.accountingtechnician.co.uk) Great! And the interim part would be (same place as the flying pigs I guess!)<BR><BR>I am at my wits end as it is for the practice simulation and I know if I donâ??t get it there is no point in attempting the actual skills test. So much for 3 hours maybe 3 weeks!<BR><BR>I have posted this before but only got general advice back it is the <b>â??INTERIMâ??</b> part I need to know about.<BR><BR>It is part of the FTC Practice Simulation for Unit 2 Making and Recording Payments (MARP)<BR><BR>Any help will be soooooooo appreciated.<BR><BR>Thanks<BR><BR>Nick

    I HAD PROBLEMS GETTING MY HEAD ROUND THIS AS WELL - GIVE ME YOU E'MAIL ADDRESS AND IT WILL SEND YOU AN EXERCISE WE GOT AT COLLEGE AND IT MAKES IT A BIT CLEARER - I JUST DONE UNIT 2 SIMULATION AND YES THE PETTY CASH BOOK AND BALANCING THE PETTY CASH AND RESTORING THE IMPREST AMOUNT IS IN IT
