Can anyone tell me is Taper relief on Capital Gains Tax worked out as a calculation of the sales proceed of the asset? Not sure if it's that, or the figure less the original value? Or that figure less indexation?<BR><BR>Yours - well & truely flummoxed<BR><BR>Glenn

    Taper relief

    Hi Glenn.<BR><BR>Taper relief is calculated on net gains, i.e. proceeds less cost.<BR><BR>Scott.
