Hya<BR><BR>Came out of my skills test for unit 1 today feeling not bad - maybe made a couple of mistakes but generally okay.<BR><BR>However, when I got home I had received back my practice test for unit 1 in the mail (Im a distance learner) and I have been marked wrong for not including settlement discount in a credit note (which I have done again today). <BR><BR>So is there any chance the tutor is wrong? Is settlement discount included in credit notes?<BR><BR>Thanks for your help<BR><BR>

    Hi<BR><BR>Yes settlement discount is included in credit notes, basically whatever you did with the invoice (ie included Trade Discount/Settlement Discount), you also need to include in the credit note.<BR><BR>Tracy

    Thanks Tracy<BR><BR>The more I thought about it after posting the message it dawned on me - if a credit note was issued to cancel an invoice it would have to be the same value as the original invoice which included calculations for settlement discount.<BR><BR>I guess I was hoping I was right.     I did exactly the same thing on both the simulation and the actual test. I had to correct the ones I did on the test.<BR><BR>Regards<BR><BR>Nick
