Maybe the people taking intermediate at present can help. I have found it difficult finding the time for homework at present on the intermediate stage, as a working mum, will I find Technican level harder?

Technician level definately needs more time dedication. Whilst I was doing Intermediate I spent little time on homework or study and just learnt as I went along in class and a couple of weeks before the exam. However, technician level is a completely different ball game. There's so much to learn that you really do have to keep on top of it. A few people in my class have decieded to defer some of the exams until next year and complete technician in two years.

Well done for what you have achieved so far with Intermediate. I hope I haven't put you off Technician because if you apply yourself you can get through it and it will be worth it in the end. Only you know how much time you have to dedicate to the final year of AAT but I would encourage you to attempt it.

Thanks for the advice, while I have been doing Intermediate I spend about 5-10 hours per week on homework, this is so I fully understand it. I suppose with the summer break I will be ready to take the next level, it would seem a shame to not become fully qualified.

I'd recommend doing over 2 years . Thats what I have done and it's a lot easier as you end up with one assessment at a time.
