Could sum1 please help me in relation to a question i came across in ECR.<BR><BR>What would A vending machine be allocated to in absorption costing would it be allocated to Floor Area or NBV or no of employees?<BR><BR>I thought it may be no of employees because its employees who use it. and as it is not a fixed asset really to an extent i didnt think it would be NBV and floor area well im not sure. Sum1 please help!!!!im confused.<BR><BR>thanks.

    no. of employees that use it would prob be best idea, assuming they come from different departments/service centres.

    What is the name of the simulation you are doing?<BR><BR>We recently did one called Belt & Braces that used a vending machine in absorption costing etc. The information was there is that I think (if my memory serves me correct), it was a total of indirect & direct employees.<BR><BR>Hope this helps.<BR><BR>Littledoe
