Let down by BPP

I am really fed up - I am doing a home study course with BPP and they have never assigned a tutor even though I have chased them by email. I now have work that should have been submitted today but is now late as I am unclear on areas and I really don't have the confidence to sit the exam in June which I applied for in March. OK, so mea cupla in many ways, but what are my options? Can I defer the June exam until December?? I will give BPP a rocket tomorrow but it's too late really.<BR>

    Let down by BPP

    I don't know if you defer you may end up having to pay the entry fee twice.<BR><BR>I've studied with BPP on day release. Their tutors are excellent but their admin is so poor eventually my employer decided to switch to FTC.<BR><BR>The tutors aren't as good as BPP but the textbooks are a lot better (they make sense, which is more than BPP's did) and their admin is better as well.<BR><BR>So, on the bright side, when you do finally get a BPP tutor, s/he will be excellent!

    I know how you feel. I am also doing the home study with BPP. I got a letter saying that they do<BR>not assign a tutor anymore, but get number to call. Anyway the person you need is Debbie Mortimore<BR>debbiemortimore@bpp.com.<BR><BR>Hope this helps

    Thanks for those messages of support, I really needed that!! I have emailed BPP again but they have not replied and so I will probably just send the stuff I have done with a stinking letter. When I got the home study stuff, it came with a standard letter telling me about the tutors etc and it said at the end that 'my' tutor would contact me 'soon'. I have not had anything suggesting that they are no longer assigning tutors.<BR><BR>Ah well, onwards and upwards .... !!

    Let down by BPP

    You have access to the past three exam papers through the AAT, why waste your exam entry fees, use the papers as a guide to gaps in your knowledge - revise like mad and have a go.<BR><BR>What's the worst that could happen! That you will have to resit in December!<BR><BR>I'm sure you can do it! Good Luck<BR><BR>jo
