can any one please help me with some examples of these (profit centre and investment centre)? and also explain what cost accounting is?

    See if you can get your hands on a copy of the AAt books writen by 'osbourne books' i found them really helpful with things like that. If you can't find any then let me know and i will e-mail you more info on the subject from the books
