Does anyone know about this questions<BR><BR>Why should commerically sensitive information be kept confidential?<BR><BR>State 2 reasons why payroll information should be kept confidential?<BR><BR>Many thanks to whoever gets answers for these

    Hi Liverpool <BR><BR>These are merely my interpretations............<BR><BR>Commercially sensitive information should be kept confidential so as not to fall into a competitors hands, you wouldn't want to lose a deal to a rival company because they found out something about you and used it to their advantage. You also wouldn't want everyone to know your financial position etc.<BR><BR>Payroll information should be kept confidential as obviously a company may employ many people doing similar jobs, but some may be paid more than others, so if everyone knew each others pay it may cause problems. Also there is the data protection act to consider, where information is not shared with anyone other than the named person.<BR><BR>Hope this is of some help.<BR><BR>Tracy
