variances!?!?

Hiya<BR>Can anyone help me with variances. I cannot remember how to work them out especially the capacity and efficiency. Does anybody know an easier way to remember them. I would ask my tutor but for all the help she's been this year, it's not worth it!! Exams getting close and really getting worried now.<BR>Any help would be hugely appreciated.
