I hope someone can help with my confusion.
I am trying to revise for BTC, however I am stuck on how to deal with the personal usage of cars when calculating the capital allowance.
Do you reduce the capital allowance by the percentage of personal use or do you ignore it? Also is the treatment different for expensive cars?

Thanks
Personal use of cars
Calculate the full allowance and subtract it from the WDV b/f to give the WDV c/f. Then apply the allowable fraction to the WDA to get the capital allowances allowed. Expensive cars are the same, reduce the WDV by 3000 and multiply 3000 by the allowable fraction above.0
