Hi Guys,<BR><BR>I am due to be made redundant from my current position at the end of June (due to office closure). This is a non-accounting positon, but this has given me the shove to find a job in the accounting industry.<BR><BR>Please can I ask any of you who know about suitable posts for an AAT Foundation student (exam in June05) in Manchester area to let me know - I would be very greatful.<BR><BR>My CV is available on request.<BR><BR>Thanks for your help,<BR>Mark.

    Hi Mark<BR><BR>To find my current job, I joined an agency specialising in jobs within the accounting sector. I was made redundant (also due to office closure) on the 15th October and I started here on the 18th!<BR><BR>Also, if you look near the back (last few pages) of your accounting technician magazine that you get through the post, it mentions jobs available in there through specialised accounting agencies.<BR><BR>Hope this helps a little.<BR><BR>Kelly

    Hi Mark,<BR><BR>First thing to do is to look at the job loss as a blessing in disguise. If your serious about a career in accounting then itâ??s best to start at the bottom of the ladder doing something relating to any aspect of accounting whilst continuing your AAT studies.<BR><BR>Give me a shout if you need any help, most of the members are great help but a little square at times.<BR><BR>Kind Regards<BR><BR><BR>Richard<BR>
