Are vacancies for permanent accounting jobs in the decline?

Hi,<BR><BR>Is it just my area or does it seem that there is a shortage of various permanent accounting positions? I use to see loads of vacancies available all the time. <BR><BR>And as soon as Iâ??m out of a job thereâ??s none!<BR><BR>Kind Regards<BR><BR>Richard<BR>(richiebkerry@hotmail.com)<BR>

    Are vacancies for permanent accounting jobs in the decline?

    From what I've saw a lot are now going through agencies to source staff.<BR><BR>Also it seems most are going along the temporary position route and then offering permanent positions, from their point of view it gives them a chance to see what you're like and if you're not good enough to save employee rights issues as regards dismissal etc. they can just let you go as per agreed contract.<BR><BR>
