Sampling/Time Series & Index Numbers

Hi <BR><BR>Can anyone explain Sampling for me . I've just done my PCR mock and know that I havent got a clue on Sampling and time series.<BR><BR>Any help would be greatly appreciated.<BR><BR>Thanks<BR><BR>Laura
