Limiting Factors

Hi Everyone again,<BR><BR>The other thing im finding difficult to get in my head is limiting factors, has anyone got a simple way of remembering how to work it out??<BR><BR>Thanks Everyone for all your help

    Limiting Factors

    There is not 'easy' way to my knowledge. I just remember it as a shortage!<BR><BR>ie<BR>Limiting Factors, where there is a 'shortage' which affect output.<BR>These include 'shortage' of materials,<BR>'Shortage' of skilled labour<BR>'Shortage' of machine hours etc<BR><BR>Once identified the effect of the constraint on the ouput can be minimised in order to achieve the best results for the business.<BR>- There is a shortage of materials this week, shall we produce product Exe or Wye?<BR>- Until we complete training program, we have shortage of skilled labour, how can be best use the skilled labour we have available?<BR>- One of the machines has broken down, which product takes priority?<BR><BR>Sorry i cant be of more help!
