i got 30.77 for my oar is this def wrong? do you think i will get a mark for using the 400,000? i also messed up big time on the overhead absorpion as stupid me never read the question properly and i used number of employees for the staff costs, will i lose a lot of marks for this? the other question i messed up in was the marginal costs apart from that i think i answered all the other questions correct especially the memos, do you think i cud scrape a pass?

I expect you will pass as you will get marks for working, be positive! Yes you will get marks for using the £400,000. From my answer and the other posts £40 is correct. I also messed up on the absorption costing - I could not find a use for the number of employees info - what should I have done with it? Also, did we need to aportion the "direct assembly costs" or just add it to assembly which is what I did?0 -

i just think the wording was terrible but half my class found the exam extremely easy, i just hope he lowers the pass rate otherwise i have def failed, what worries me is this is my strong subject as the fra is my weak one, crazy i am so glad i am not doing my technician as my work want me to do my auditing exams since i have just got a new job as an auditor, hope these exams are not too bad, at leat their pass rate is only 50%0 -

i found the exam yesterday REALLY hard. i think i may have ahd a mind blank just before i went in there or something. it was def harder than any of the past papers i have been doing as revision. <BR>i dont know about you lot but i'd never heard of under recovery, i know what under and over absorption is but not recovery!!!<BR><BR>and as for all those 000000's........well that just did my head right in. <BR>oh well.......theres always december to do it all again!!!!!0 -
