How long do transaction documents and personnel documents have to be kept? Hope i don't sound too stupid asking, got an idea but want to be sure.

    I thought it was six years for both, but just wandered if it may be longer for personnel documents?

    Hi<BR><BR>Yes it's six years from the year end date for items which may need to be inspected for HM Customs & Excise or the Inland Revenue. These government bodies can only go this far back in checking information that is why they need to be kept.<BR><BR>Tracy
