    Example:<BR><BR>On the fixed asset register you may have 4 vans (it will give registration numbers). A physical check may only show 3 vans parked at the factory (again - reg numbers will be given). You have to mention that perhaps the 4th van was out on the road at the time of the physical check - you report it to your supervisor to make sure you still have the 4th van somewhere.<BR><BR>All discrepancies must be investigated. If you have a printer missing - has it been taken to another office in your group?, has it gone in for repairs?<BR><BR>Do you get the gist?<BR><BR>Scott.
