i hope everyone done well!!!<BR><BR>When does the portfolio need to be completed by and who marks it?

    Hi there Thread<BR>I am a new member to the forum but have completed foundation level. We have been told that we have until the 29th June for completion of our portfolios. At our college the aat verifier has already been out, our tutors have been signing ours as we have completed the sections. I am not sure that they get marked!! in the way of homework would but we have been told that we keep them and must be kept safe as they can be called up by the AAT for up to three years.<BR>

    Hi<BR><BR>The completion date for your portfolio (if any date) will be set by the college.<BR><BR>The way the system works is; you do skills test work (either simulations or work place evidence) which your tutor will mark as competent or not. When you have acvheived the skills test, your college/centre will forward the details to the AAT who will record it. Some colleges/centres will sign off work and forward the details to the AAT piece by piece (in which case your portfolio becomes a storage space for your work), others will wait until you have completed the portfolio and go through the lot and forward the details of completion to the AAT.<BR><BR>When the external verifier from the AAT comes out, they will do checks on a particular number of portfolios for quality purposes.<BR><BR>Neil

    Hi!<BR><BR>We have also been told that our portfolio needs to be in by the 29th.<BR>I'm getting really nervous now as I have barely done anything for it.<BR><BR>Kat

    We've got to get ours in on monday and I kinda not done much to it<BR>
