<BR>I took the exam like the rest of u this morning and was a bit surprised as i havent really been spending my time revising what i done in intermediate stage! I dont think the exam was too bad, saying that like intermediate and even foundation my balance sheet didnt balance. I was confident with the goodwill although confused by the 5,000 investment my cash flow rec and statement tied in nicely and i was confident with the ratio's, so what im trying to say is dont get disheartened by the exam as a balance sheet doesnt have to balance to past an exam. It could be worst the bloke next to me walked out after 40minutes and didnt return, so im sure you did better than that!

    Hey did anyone notice that the balance sheet pro-forma in today's DFS paper had the wrong date?

    nope didnt notice, i know i should have looked really, but i did what they said to do........looked through the paper first, wish i hadnt cos then i just panicked, thought about just leaving the paper and going home but instead decided to chomp my way thru bit by bit............. well done for spotting it, i was so in a panic i think a spider could have walked across the page and i wouldnt have seen it!! :-)

    I noticed and was very sad and changed it to the correct date, you never know I may get extra marks!!

    Somebody else noticed in our exam and the invigilator stopped everyone and told us to change the date and make a date that we it was an assumed printing error

    I circled the date in red and told them I assumed it was for year ended 31 March 2005. <BR><BR>Then I put a little note on the workings side which said 'if you are asking for 30 sept 2002, I can't answer because the information is not available' <BR><BR>Having said that, I did fill in the balance sheet, I didn't leave it blank!<BR><BR>Wishful thinking - maybe they'll write off that question altogether?!

    Our centre received a fax from AAT admitting the error... some cock-up...lol

    I also noticed that the potential investors name changed from Leopold to Leopard half way through the last question <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">
