Ive noticed that people keep mentioning "Osbourne Books" I havent heard anything about them until now.<BR><BR>Does anyone recomend these books??? If so i will get hold of them for Technician.<BR><BR>Ive been through Foundation and Intermediate with FTC but they do get a bit complex sometimes.. I like my study materials to be in simple plain english.<BR><BR>Andy

Andy,<BR>Osborne books are not bad - certainly use more plain English than FTC or BPP. Certainly I feel that at Foundation and Intermediate level they are the best of a not fantastically good bunch. At Technician possibly a bit too simple. Suggest you discuss with your tutors which books they want you to be using.<BR><BR>Graha Blott0 -

Osborne Books very good used them for the three years you can get them from their web site on www.osbornebooks.co.uk.<BR><BR>Technician you have three compulsory units DFS PEV & PCR then a choice of BTC<BR>PCT, audit or cash managment and a project.<BR><BR>Osborne books did tutorial and works for all subject but audit but September students they are bringing out one for audit.<BR><BR>The book that was most useful was Managing Accounting System and People, which is for unit 10 your project this would be worth investing in.<BR><BR>Our college supplied our books obviously this was paid for by our college fees but we did not have to go out and get them, which is useful so we all had our books on the first day.<BR><BR>Hope this is useful to you.<BR><BR>All the best0
