I'm just starting unit 10. I don't have any ideas what to base my project upon. Any suggestions from any one?<BR>Any tips and advice would be extremely helpful. Thanks

    Hi, <BR>I based mine on the payroll/expenses system because it is what I deal with daily and I already could see problems with it.<BR>Have you had a look at the resource centre on here? There is quite a lot of help there now.<BR>All the best with it<BR>Dee<BR>

    Hello Jason<BR>I based it on the payroll system at work.<BR>I have not seen the simulation booklet that you refer to - is this a scenario that you can base your project on? Do you know anything about these?<BR>I have a friend who is not working and she has been told that she could do the project based on a scenario but she seems to think that it will take 2 years to complete- seems a little excessive

    Hi<BR>I work in Accounts for a small business, and I was given the option to do my own project or a case study. With a case study booklet which looks like a devolved assessment book you are given all the company information, all the research, a diary of company events which lists all areas for review if you look for it. You just need to break all the areas down and think of strengths and weakesses in the different systems and re-write the information given in the usual report format. I know that the project is expected to last 4 - 6 weeks, not 2 years. I have to present my first draft within 4 weeks and then I'm given 2 weeks to correct and add areas before my oral interview at the end of it. The new aat case study is called The Premier Print Ltd, which replaces Castonbridge Hotel.

    Thanks for that Jason, <BR>I had wondered how the scenario would work as I had to do quite a bit of research. I spoke to my tutor today about it as well and she said very much the same as you, so not sure where she got this 2 year thing from.<BR>Did you go with the case study, think it would be quite interesting<BR><BR>
