Help I can't get started!!

I have just taken on this course and I keep looking at the books nothing seems to go in I just keep going round in circles.<BR><BR>Has anyone had this problem before? If so how did you overcome it?<BR>Or is it just that I work in accounts all day and then come home and try to take in more info.<BR><BR>I hope one of you can give me some guidance on this matter.

    Help I can't get started!!

    We've all been there!<BR>Picked up the books last night to start reading the technician unit 8 & 9, and read the first 3 pages over and over, and still couldnt tell you what they were about.<BR>Dont worry yet!<BR>Some days it just doesnt sink in at all. Others, you will find everything drops into place with ease.<BR><BR>If you work in accounts already, did u not get exemption from foundation?

    Hi Shaz thanks for your support, I didn't get exemption cause I didn't want it I decided to start right at beginning

    What books are you using-some seem to be better than others. Also, presumably you are doing home study which is much harder I think.<BR>Keep at it though!

    Help I can't get started!!

    I have worked in accounts for many years and I have just sat my final technician exams this June. When I started 3 years ago I also decided to start at the very beginning - definitely the right choice. I started Foundation in the September and it took me until the following January for everything to start falling into place. Stick with it because it will eventually click and you will sail through foundation. I learnt a lot in that first year so it was definitely worth doing and not skipping. Good Luck!
