Hi

I am about to start intermediate after completing my first year at college. I am trying to work out what distance learning course is the best. Has anyone had any bad experiences/tried more than one? I have also been trying to look at the success rates but cannot find one that is all for the same exam period. Can anyone help? Really stuck on what one to go for, so far have not heard anything bad about Premier Training or FTC?

Distance Learning - FTC/BPP or Premier?
I have started Intermediate with Premier Training and that is down to the recommendations on this discussion forum and chatting to some of my new found friends. The company I work for have BPP as a preferred supplier but I put a case together to go with Premier and it worked. I can honestly say, I have picked it up easily?! and had a discussion last night with my partner on the two methods of calculating depreciation..........!
I have also nominated my boss as my "supervisor" for the simulations and this wasn't a problem.
Good luck0 -

Hi

Thanks for that, I think Premier Training seem to be the way to go. Thanks for your advice, always better to hear from real people rather than company websites. (",)0 -
Distance Learning - FTC/BPP or Premier?
I would definately go with Premier, I have been doing the course distant learning but not with Premier I hasten to add. When I rang Premier to discuss the technician stage, they were so helpful and the guy even sent me some spreadsheets to help me out, I wasn't even signed up with them, I was just making an enquiry.

Premier gave me more help than my distant learning lot, if I did decide to do the Technician stage, I'd go with Premier.

Good luck0 -

Hi,

I have just enrolled with Premier on the Technician level, after dithering about for a while.

I received all my books and my plan 2 days later, and have started working on it. It's hard work but I am really enjoying it and am finding it much better to be in control of what I am doing and going at my own pace. I am really glad I have taken this option.

I used BPP books for the Foundation and Intermediate at college.
Premier use Osborne books which I am finding very easy to read.
The workbooks are very good.0
