SINCE I COME TO ENGLAND I FIND IT DIFFICULT TO GET A POSITION IN THE ACCOUNTS CAREER!! I ALMOST SEND 50 APPLICATION A DAY BUT THE RESPOND I GET IT'S ETHIER I AM TO QUALIFIED FOR THE POSITION OR I DON'T HAVE UK EXPERIENCE, I JUST COMPLETED MY TECH THIS YEAR AND AM AN ACCA STUDENT. I WROTE PAPER 1.1 & 1.2 IN SOUTH AFRICA YEAR 2001( ACCA)<BR><BR>AM LOSING CONFIDENCE COULD SOME ONE HELP PLEASE!! EVEN THE MOST LOWEST LEVEL I.E CLERK OR VOLUNTARY POSITION JUST TO SHOW MYSELF THAT AM MORE THAN CAPABLE.<BR><BR>

    Hi there<BR><BR>Have you tried joing an agency. They would be more than willing to help you with any kind of position in accounts from clerk to managers. As they charge commission from employers, they do all the running and you just turn up where they send you. You could do temporary work to gain experience or look for temporary to permanent positions.<BR><BR>Reed, Hays, Robert Half, Michael Page are all good accountancy agencies. <BR><BR>Good luck - Don't give up.<BR>

    Go to the reed website and look under the Accountancy Section, thousands of jobs, what reed does is list all the jobs that other agencies are advertising. <BR><BR>http://www.reed.co.uk<BR><BR>Happy hunting...<BR><BR>
