Technician Level Next Year

    Start your project now.
There are different routes, the hardest having five centrals.
Give yourself a head start by getting the books in advance. Particuallary pay attention to the management of resources and enhancement of value. You need to understand what the variances mean and what they are attempting to measure, as well as the mathmatical equations. ( find out what the college intends to teach first)
For finance you will need to know your Ssaps and Frs's although it may now be IAS's.
High emphasis on consolidated accounts, associations and mergers, Cashflow, but you need to know most of it. This is Degree level. tutors wil be teaching more subjects than they can possibly fit into one lesson, so do your homework, although if your tutor is not organised and diciplined with the class you may have trouble knowing where you are at.So do the homework they require and go through the books additionally. I am one of the more able students who passed PTC and budgets of technician in Dec. But found it hard to study for BTC, DFS, PEV and get the project out all at once. ( although having three kids, working and a home to run that is also like a building site adds a little edge to it all!) Myself and other much more gifted students used almost all of our time allocated to complete these exams. Hopefully we all passed. If not may see you in Dec.

Oh spelling is not my strongest area :-)
