Help with Technician Stage

Please can someone help me.<BR><BR>I am looking to buy my Technician books ready for September I'm not sure which ones I need.<BR>What are the compulsary exams that are done at this stage. <BR><BR>I'm not sure what options my college have in regards to auditing etc so I will wait to September before I buy those books.<BR><BR>Louise

    Mandatory Units - all five must be completed: <BR> <BR>Unit 8 - Management of performance and the enhancement of value PEV <BR>Unit 9 - Planning and control of resources PCR <BR>Unit 10 - Managing systems and people (project 3000-4000 words) - don't really need the book, I bought it but hardly looked at it.<BR>Unit 11 - Drafting financial statements DFS <BR>Unit 22 - Monitoring and maintaining a healthy and safe workplace* <BR><BR>*if not already covered at an earlier stage<BR>

    Dear Louise,<BR><BR>If you have just finished Intermediate, then I'd recommend starting with PEV and PCR as they cover quite a lot of the same areas and the costing elements follow on quite neatly from ECR. IF you are very keen/hardworking/clever then you could go for DFS too, which I believe follows on from FRA, but I've not actually done it yet, so can't say for sure. <BR><BR>Whichever you choose, best of luck with it.<BR><BR>A<BR>x

    Thanks everyone for the replies. I'm going to purchase the books this week to start studying for the December exams
