Hi everyone,

I would be grateful if anyone out there could give me some advice on contracts of employment, or, as is the scenario I'm stuck in, advice about where I stand without a contract.

The company I work for is due to close down very soon due to the M.D. having health problems. I have been employed there on a part time basis for 9 months and up to now have taken 4 days leave.

Is the company obliged to pay me holiday pay for the total time I have worked - another two days, or until the end of the year - another 4 days?

I had last week off, and when I got to work this morning, the company had re-located further away from home, making it more difficult for me to get there. Even though the M.D. offered to pick me up from the original place of work I don't feel I can be bothered to do any more travelling.

Finally, now the company has re-located, and 2 different companies are sharing the same premises, and both M.D's are good friends, I feel I have been treated like s*** today with lots of derogatory comments being thrown my way, some personal, some not so personal. Any quick sharp replies would be greatly appreciated.

Now, I'm going to throw a few non-breakable things around my living room and open a bottle and get pleasantly merry now I have got all that off my chest.

Hope everyone's looking forward (!!) to the results next week.

Linda

Thanks, that's what thought but wanted to make sure. Like most people, I like to know what I'm doing so I can plan things, but I can't even get a definite finishing date, which is also really frustrating and winding me up!!

Linda.0
