Completed Technician. What now?

Does anyone know, do we get a certificate for passing the technician stage of AAT, if so is it presented to us at some kind of get together. I heard a rumour that it was a cap and gown do, but don't believe that, but it would be nice to get something more than a statement of achievement through the post, don't you agree, after spending all this time studying for this qualification.

    Completed Technician. What now?

    I don't know about other Technician students but along with my statement of achievement I received my NVQ Level 4 certificate. I haven't heard anything about a cap and gown do' though.

    Funny you should say that, I have been asking the very same question! As a mature student it would be lovely to mark this achievement. There was a photo in the AAT Magazine some months ago of some Technician students in caps and gowns, but I have heard nothing personally and feel quite deflated after all the hard work.<BR><BR>

    Hear Hear.<BR>I know what you mean. After all that hard work there is a bit of an anticlimax at the end of it all.

    See my other thread/posting about the invitations to newly qualified members to attend award ceremonies, sent out yesterday. No mention of the dress code though!
