don't you dare give up. I was worried when i first started at Foundatin level about how far i would get.
I am Technician level and have failed PCR twice now. I won't be beat i want to complete the AAT altogether.
Have a short break and then get stuck in again. Try and find someone who you can study with it will give you confidence. It's not easy when you are on your own.

I felt like giving up in December when I failed my PCR exam. I passed today though and am very happy as accountancy does not come easy to me.

Just give yourself some time, then get stuck back in. Make sure you understand everything and dont make the mistake of not studying an area as you think it won't come up, because you can guarantee it will in an exam! Make sure you read your textbooks from COVER to COVER (I mean, that in a literal sense too), and do all the workbook questions (if you are a homestudy person that is), or even if ur at college, ensure you do all questions and ensure you undertake adequate note-taking in class. Do the past exam papers again and again til you're blue in the face. I think you will know if you are capable of passing the exams and getting the qualification (gut instinct), if however, you feel unsure of ur capabilities, then accounting may not be for you. If, you know you can get the qualification, then steam ahead and give it your best shot and you will get the results you desire in the end. Good luck.

Remember, a winner never quits, and a quitter never wins.

If i had a £1 for everyone i failed i would be wealthy now - i managed to complete the whole of AAT and now i'm 3/4 way through ACCA. I'm still failing exams, but who cares - i'll get there in the end.

Keep plodding on girl.

    Please don't give up.

I felt like jacking it in at Xmas, it all got too much and I was wondering whether it was worth hassle and worry, then a dream job came up in the paper which needed AAT and that made my mind up. I reorganised my timetable so that I don't do loads at the same time - it will take a year longer, but now I have something to aim for.

Don't get disheartened, just try to remember why you are doing all this and try and break it down into smaller portions.

Good luck and let us know!

Hey dont give up, last year I failed all my exams and was devastated. I decided to re-take the whole year again, I was so embarrassed and had to join a class of people I didnt know. Every week I asked myself whether i had done the right thing repeating the year and sitting through it all again. It is worth it and you will pass next time, just remember these exams are at a very high level and they arent meant to be easy (as my dad said ! )

Ive felt so low over the past year but is all worth it when you pass and its all over !

Best of luck xx
