Hi there,<BR><BR>I have passed the Unit 6 ECR exam but not the FRA Unit 5 though. It was the second time that I had completed the FRA exam as I did it last December as well. Iâ??m sure that Iâ??ll pass it next time round however â?? fingers crossed.<BR><BR>Is there anyone from Blackpool and the Fylde College here ??<BR><BR>Anyway congratulations to all those people who passed.<BR>

Well done for passed the ECR good luck for Decemeber. Im from Blackpool and Fylde college I passed ECR and FRA. I am on the Technician level in September do you know anything about the project we have to do next year. I do not know where to start and what the subject is meant to be.

Hello Jenuk81,<BR><BR>Congratulations on passing both exams !! I don't know much about this project yet as I haven't done it either but I've been looking for details about the Technician project and it is about Unit 10: Managing Systems and People in the Accounting Environment. You could take a look at this to start to see what ideas you can come up with on guidelines here:<BR><BR>http://www.aat.org.uk/docs/students/unit_10_guidance.pdf<BR><BR>There are three ways of approaching the project:<BR><BR>- You actually manage in an accounting function - You can use experiences from work to prove ability to meet competencies of accounting standards.<BR><BR>- You work in the accounting environment - Therefore you can observe, talk to managers and critically analyse their performanceto make recommnendatins to prove competence.<BR><BR>- If not employed then the project is based on a case study<BR><BR>Also you can choose a topic or theme and the assessor plans the assessment itself and the 3 ways this can be done are:<BR><BR>3000-4000 word project<BR>Assessor interview or questioning.<BR>Employer testimony.<BR><BR>I hope this helps you as a start.<BR>
