Just failed my PEV & PCR. anyone else in the same position, feeling swamped by the fact that it's going to be another 5months before moving forward? Anyone got anything positive to say to help get over the result?

Dont give up hope. I failed PEV in Dec and felt like giving up. There was only three of us that failed and with three more exams to get through the tutor couldnt revise this particular unit. Home study it was. with 3 kids a full time job and four exam to do plus the project i thought it wasnt worth it. Even after walking out the exam room for the second time I thought I had failed but this morning i am on top of the world knowing i have completed aat. You can do it you just need to keep telling yourself and believe me it is worth it

Thanks for that...I'm doing home study too, working full time, looking after an ailing husband, and two children. Thank God I've met someone in a similar position...Will keep on going. In fact my books are out now!

I failed PEV twice and also fail PCR once and the intermediate costing exam. I've got there in the end and have passed everything.

My way of looking at it is, is I would rather pass knowing that I fully know and understand the work I have done rather than scrape through and feeling unsure.

For example When I failed my intermediate costing I was gutted but I discovered when I got to tech level I was more equipt and had better knowledge than the others that past intermediate 1st time.

So it may be frustrating to fail but there are advantages, it may not feel like it now but trust me you'll see what I mean when you get there and you will!

Chin up! It will be worth it!
