Intermediate looking for technician advice pls

Having sucessfully passed my exams (thank god!!!) I can now contemplate technician stage. I was wondering if anyone sat both the business and personal tax papers as well as the 3 compulsory ones and how you found it. I would love to do business and personal tax but am worried about sitting all 5 papers next June.<BR>Thanks for your help

I couldnt beleive it yesterday when i got the results...<BR><BR>I thought there were more than 5 nxt yr? only 3 centrals? hm. better than i thought then. i'm also confused about the audit and tax units. are these optional? and can you split these up and do them seperately so as not to face 5 exams at once?<BR><BR>Cheers<BR>Ben

    Sorry I meant 5 central assessment papers. Some of the options do not have central exams. I believe there are 3 compulsory exams and if you opt for Business and Personal Tax there are central exams for both of those which would make 5 papers to take all at once in June next year. I think the other options are by ways of skills test but I didn't fancy doing the audit option. Does this make better sense??? prob not lol.

    I did all three compulsory exams, plus the 2 tax ones in one year. At my college we sat DFS and PCR in December. Then we did PEV, BTC and PTC in June.<BR>We also did the MAS project between Christmas and Easter.<BR>Some people choose to do the technician stage over two years, and the tutors at my college said it's really hard to do it all in one year, but I passed all my exams first time (as did 2 friends) - so it is possible. <BR>If that's what you want - go for it!<BR>It's hard work though!
