ECR skills test

Hey guys,<BR><BR>I sat the mock exam for this, and will be sitting the actual exam next week. Only problem is that they haven't returned my mock exam script, so I have no idea which areas to focus on!<BR><BR>Anyone have any tips on which study areas to concentrate on for this?<BR><BR>Cheers!

    ECR skills test

    Hi Soulfly,<BR>I took my ECR skills test in April and from what I can remember there were 3 different papers the AAT did for Skills test. The one which I did had the following.<BR><BR>Section one<BR>stock record card<BR>Calculating Labour costing<BR>Distinguish between Direct and Indirect Labour (calculations)<BR>Allocation, apportionment and absorption of Overheads. NB Overheads- indirect costs!!!!!)<BR>calculating Absorption rate<BR>Identify - Over/Under absorption<BR>report on comparison of absorption rate( machine / labour rates per hours)<BR>Re-apportionment of the costs of service cost centres.<BR><BR>section 2<BR>Limiting factor analysis<BR>breakeven point<BR>Margin of safety<BR>project appraisal- payback period. (calculation and report)<BR><BR> If i think of anything else, I will post it on here.<BR>NB: one of the other girls in my class had to do a resit and she mentioned that she had questions on marginal costing , process costing- (not in detail) and quite a few reports.
