Anyone doing ICAEW after AAT?

Hi everyone!<BR><BR>Just wondered if anyone is studying with the ICAEW after AAT - everyone seems to be doing ACCA.<BR><BR>

    <BR>If I was continuing to study, I would probably do ACA, simply because I work for a firm of accountants and it is expected.<BR><BR>I might start studying again next year, and I'm considering asking to do ACCA because it is relevant for practice and industry, whereas ACA ties you to practice, until you get really high up!

    Hi<BR><BR>I wouldnt say ACA ties you to practice, you need to work in an approved firm (usually a practice) but there is nothing to stop you moving after you qualify.<BR><BR>Neil
