Hi,
I have passed all my technician exams but have not yet completed my Unit 10 - Mas Report.

All i need is a couple of tutorials with my tutor and then my tutor to sign my report off but my college are asking £240 just for this.

Is there another way to have my report signed off or will I have to take them up on this fee?

Any advice appreciated
Thanks

Ask BPP, the people that provide the text books etc.

I think they charge you £99.00 to sign off your project.

My college didn't charge me for my project sign off - I think it's a bit of a cheek to ask for £240. Although some colleges do provide tutorials (my college did but I didn't attend any).

I just has a couple of meetings with my tutor and then he signed it off.

I don't see any reason why you can't get another training provider to sign off your project, if in doubt phone AAT.

Helen

Hi

Thats a bit steep! Would have thought all fees were included in your original tuition fees. Id push the college for an answer on this and perhaps take it to the AAT.

If you do have to pay the fee, probably better to register as a distance learning student with BPP and submit your project to them. Alternatively, BPP provide (or at least used to) a skills test only service where you pay the assessment only. Would need to ring them about it though, as there is nothing of it on their website.

Neil

I definately think my college has a cheek. I've had an email from FTC saying they'd charge me £50 to sign my project off so thats a much better option than £240!!!
