<BR><BR>So what does everyone think of the exam answers? In particular, I note the recommendation in Task 2.2 of PEV was *not* to subcontract, yet, as I recall, most posters here thought we should. The examiner's comment was, that the question was 'not done well'. In the answer, it mentions 'pivotal point' but the question did not make it clear that this calculation was required. I presume this is the same as 'break even point'.<BR><BR>I should add, that I think this type of question is quite useful for examining depth of knowledge. What threw me off the scent in this question, was that I thought 2.2 led directly on from task 2.1, but in fact, the FD's figure of £78K seemed to appear from nowhere and later it transpire it referred to the ABC question in section 1.3. Thus my calculation of costs, contributions and profits ended at this juncture!<BR>

    <BR>I was not expecting section 2 to be connected to section 1 - although it was the same company, it didn't occur to me to look back to section 1. Hence I wrote something along the lines of 'no that isn't the unit cost'... Oops.<BR><BR>I think the exam answers would be a lot more useful if they were released closer to the exams - three months meant that looking at the questions didn't evoke any memories for me, let alone recognising the answers.<BR><BR>The examiners report for PEV was useless - 'this task was not done well'. Thanks. Maybe that's why I passed - everyone else messed up as well!

    Hi<BR><BR>I agree with Lilibet, I knew that my answer for task 2.2 was wrong, but releasing the answers after two months is too long to remember the questions & the answers we did.

    I didn't know 2.2 was linked to section 1 until i just read your message. Might explain why the figures made no sense! I just put loads of qualitive stuff like the ethics behind it and the looked at how risky it was and didn't do any calculations! So imagine my suprise when i passed! Although it should state clearly you could look back and use information form 1.3.
