Last December my course was cancelled by my college and I had to move to another one. AAT informed my college that due to the circumstances we would be given our registration fee back for the year if we did not sit the December exams. As we had had no tuition for 8 weeks I didn't feel ready for the exams so I didn't sit them. Needless to say the registration fee never arrived back! After many letters and phone calls to AAT I was told by customer services my registration date had been moved from September to January (when I started at my new college) and I thought the matter was closed. Ha as if!

After another call to AAT I found out that I had been lied to. My registration date had not been moved. I then brought up the matter again when the EV visited my college in early May. He took all the details and spoke to AAT for me. I then received a call from someone whos name I have forgotten. She went through the whole problem again and offered to credit my AAT account with the money I lost for not sitting the exam. Great!

I have now received my exam entry form and, as it will hopefully be my last sitting, I rang AAT on Friday to see how I would go about using to credit on my account. Surprise, surprise its not there and no one knows anything about it!!

Don't get me wrong, the course AAT run is great and I have enjoyed my time studying with them but if I treat my customers the way they do I'd be out of business now!! I had got to the point with the whole matter where I just couldn't be bothered to chase the money anymore but when AAT actually rang me and offered me the exam money back I thought at last someone was listening. What a joke!
