Are you planning to file online or by post?

You should find the information on Companies House Website www.companieshouse.co.uk - look under information and guidance for filing your accounts and the Inland Revenue website www.hmrc.gov.uk. under corporation tax.

What accounts package do you use? You may find you can produce the accounts in the formats required by both Companies House and the Inland Revenue.
Thanks for the reply - I've registered online for Corporation Tax submission, I have to wait for a password to be sent in the post. Do I have to send a hard copy of the year end accounts as well? I am just using Sage Instant, so will probably use an excel spreadsheet for the correct format and the fixed assets. I have sent the annual return to Companies House online, can I send the copy of the accounts to them online as well? I will check on their website though,

Many thanks for your help

You won't need to send a hard copy if you send over the internet, you should find you get a quicker response from the Inland Revenue as well.

I'm not sure that you can file accounts online to Companies House, I think it may be just the Annual Return (which will have saved you £15) and certain other forms but I could be wrong on this one!

    Hi

You should be able to adjust/recreat the P&L report on Sage to print in Companies House format/layout. Alternatively, a trila balnce form Sage converted to excel with 'sumif' and vlookup' formulas would work too.

Neil
