Hi All,<BR><BR>i just started my intermediate yesterday and have been asked to write a bullet pointed list on how you do a set of accounts.<BR><BR>i dont no where to start and as i do not work in practice i have no clue!<BR><BR>could anyone please help <BR><BR>Staci

    Hi, <BR>My guess would be that they want you to do something along the lines of;<BR><BR>> Tick off payments and bankings<BR>>make summary of Bankings<BR>>make summary of payments<BR>>list unentered bankings<BR>>list unentered payments<BR>> draw up bank account and put in totals (of bankings, unentereds,etc.)<BR>(make sure you include the opening and closing balances)<BR>>once bank account has balanced then analyse the payments/bankings<BR> <BR>And they might want you to continue with looking for creditors/debtors etc. Don't take my word for it - (I start back college next week) but this is what I would have thought they wanted.
